Access Intensive Session

On October 24, Access Students from Chernihivka met with Latvian volunteer. Konstantin inspired our children to get more information, to develop and improve themselves. 

Nowadays, it's becoming increasingly popular to use online resources to get knowledge. However, sometimes it is difficult to find and to choose really useful webpages. So Konstantin presented several interesting webpages that are really effective and available. 

Also this positive person kept students energized. They liked to play games and to dance with Konstantin. 

We want to thank Konstantin for attending Access Group in Chernihivka. Thank you so much for coming. It was pleasant to meet such a good, friendly, creative,active person as you are. We hope you can visit us again soon!

Surveys 

  Surveys are very useful ways to find out what other people think about a chosen topic. That`s why Access students improved interviewing skills by conducting a survey of different age groups. The aim was to discover the most popular holiday among the citizens of Chernihivka. After interviewing students analyzed the results and presented them using infographics.

 

День захисника України 

Вчора, 14 жовтня, безмежна наша Батьківщина відзначала велике державне свято — День захисника України. День мужності та сили. Це свято чудова нагода  зазирнути та переглянути сторінки історії рідної неньки - України, згадати не лише славних предків - козаків, але й усіх, хто нині покликаний захищати нашу Батьківщину!

Games…games…games.

They are very useful in teaching and learning English because the game arouses children’s interest to English, their outlook, even the weak student can remember the words and grammar structures through the game.

Game is really a worthwhile learning experience for  the students. Students can not  only have more opportunities using the English language, but also students’ English speaking, listening, and speech perception will improve. 

Game lightens up the atmosphere and brings liveliness in the classes. Students learn to use the language in a more realistic, more practical way.  So, our Access lesson was totally devoted to games. We enjoyed, had much fun and improved English.

Great Station Lesson

Our todays lesson was built on 4 stations: Reading, Listening, Watching and Writing. Stations are a great way to navigate student learning. Each station provides a unique experience.

There was a great success at the reading and writing stations. Students had the opportunity to highlight their ideas for the further development of events of the text they read. And also Access students  wrote a letter for readers of the blogs about their ideal vacation.Listening station consisted of 3 levels(Pre-listening-guessing the theme of conversation, While-listening- choosing True/False, Post-listening-checking the answers and creation the questions).

Watching station included a video about the wedding traditions in the United States . After that students did test to the video and created own tasks for their groupmates.

 So, today we had fun and made our education playful.
